As Artistic Director of Theatre Centre, I collaborated with Headlong and TikTok to create TikTok Shocks, a project designed to inspire and support emerging theatre-makers during the challenging COVID-19 lockdowns.

Through this programme, 13 exceptional young artists were selected to participate in a series of high-energy, 24-hour creative challenges, responding to prompts shared on TikTok.

Their work was showcased on TikTok’s discovery homepage, culminating in a live broadcast event on Halloween 2021 that celebrated their creativity and resilience, connecting a new generation of theatre talent with 50,000 of TikTok’s global audiences.
