Crafting Bold Theatre with the Next Generation

Creative Director / Producer

In 2012, I launched Young Studio at the National Theatre, a dedicated space for young creatives—writers, directors, designers, filmmakers, lyricists, music producers, circus performers, digital artists, and more. This wasn’t just about nurturing talent; Young Studio was designed to empower groups of young artists to experiment, collaborate, and push creative boundaries.

Young Studio encouraged young artists to rethink theatrical form and explore its role in contemporary culture. Here, they questioned, innovated, and took risks together, transforming raw ideas into bold, original theatre. It was a space for their imaginations to flourish, turning their ingenuity and passion into dynamic, thought-provoking performances that resonate with modern audiences.
